Request For Contributions Of Mohammad Caricatures

Wednesday 23 April 2008 @ 2:35 pm

Here's an interesting emailed-in request for Mohammad caricatures. The writer says he is a Norwegian University College student that's "more or less done with writing the manuscript" for his book; "1001 caricatures of Mohammad as a defense, for the right to ask the critical questions and make caricatures. As we can gather from the books title, he needs contributions in the form of 1001 caricature drawings of Mohammad and asks that we publish his request in our "blogg." It's signed "Alias John Smith."

So, being the nice folks that we are, here's his request for contributions of Mohammad caricatures:

1001 caricatures of Mohammad

What should the answer of the freedom loving peoples of the west be ageist the fascist forces in Islam who threatens with violence to stop critical opinions and caricatures of Islam?

If you are one of many who share my beliefs that we have to fight this totalitarian ideology, you now have the possibility to participate.

I am writing a book called "1001 caricatures of Mohammad as a defense, for the right to ask the critical questions and make caricatures. As you understand from the books title, I need contributions in the form of 1001 caricature drawings of Mohammad.

I am writing this book under a fictional name because of the dangers combined with expression critical views of Islam. Any contribution will be protected in the same manner as my self.

Make history; defend the freedom to many take for granted. With a pen you can stand up and fight for the right to be free in the battle of liberty for all the peoples of the world. Send your contribution to:
1001.karikaturer.av.muhammed@gmail.com

Yours sincerely

Alias John Smith

His blog is here ...

Judging from the reaction that Muslims exhibited during the Danish Cartoon episode from only 12 caricatures, the reaction "John Smith" will get from 1001 caricatures of Mohammed is going to be "interesting," to say the least.

Al-Sadr’s Familiy Turns On Him - Disowns “Rogue Son”

Wednesday 23 April 2008 @ 12:56 pm

Iraq's Josef Al-Sadr says that Muqtada Al-Sadr has tainted his family's reputation - and they intend to deal with him internally. This is definitely not a good omen for "Mookie" should he venture back to Iraq from his undisclosed secure location (hiding place) in Iran, however, it could turn out to be good news for Iraq.

According to Haider Ajina:

A number of religious leaders and leading figures have stepped out of a long standing tradition of non confrontation with other religious leaders. This tradition is now being challenged. Muqtada was told by a number of Ayatollahs that it is against Islam to take arms against an elected government. The will of the people is to be respected and political change has to happen at the ballet box. This is very encouraging and really not a surprise.

Islam teaches Muslims that it is their duty to speak out and take action to confront wrongdoings. It is time this teaching is put to practice by those who profess to be leaders of the religion. Muslim condemnations of terrorist attacks and bigotry have been heard for some time now. Suicide attacks have also been condemned by a number of Muslim leaders, now it is time to call those who entice violent political change to task.

The emphasized comments are an encouraging sign that moderate Muslims in Iraq are finally speaking out against the extremists and going so far as calling them to task. If only Muslims in the other parts of the world would "heed the call."

And, come to think of it, wouldn't it be nice if there were some moderate Muslims (as in where are they?) in America and Europe that did some "heeding the call" of their own?

Md. Man Who Sent Threatening Letters to Bush Sentenced to 15 Years: So What Should ‘Little Bush Hater’ Get For YouTube Video?

Tuesday 22 April 2008 @ 4:45 pm

Fox News reports that a federal judge in Greenbelt has sentenced a man to 15 years in federal prison for sending threatening letters to President Bush, a judge and a prosecutor in Montgomery County, and a Rockville attorney who uncovered the man's alleged embezzlement scheme more than 20 years ago. Although what he did was both wrong and illegal, the threat was apparently driven by an emotional response to his having been raped and beaten in prison. Certainly this is not an excuse but one can understand that the guy at the very least had some basis for feeling wronged, albeit the way he responded to what happened to him in prison were inappropriate.

However, this brings us to the real topic at hand, the child in the "Little Bush Hater" video and the adult or adults that put him up to it. The vile, vulgar, highly threatening YouTube video threatening President Bush represents the kind of racial hate characteristic of Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and the irrational hatred of the far left sufferers of Bush Derangement Syndrome, and could represent a very real threat. Importantly, the only excuse the makers of the video have is a deranged hatred for the president of the United States for their imagined and clearly bizarre grievances.

Readers are encouraged to watch the video and decide for themselves, but I cannot imagine the Secret Service not investigating the person or persons behind it, and get the sicko kid some major psychological therapy (and an education), sooner rather than later.

Carter Again Proves He’s The Useful Idiot Of Terrorists

Monday 21 April 2008 @ 1:44 pm

Well put by Ed Morrissey:

... just as clueless 30 years ago as he proved himself to be this week. Carter had everything but Neville Chamberlain's umbrella as he returned with a supposed agreement by Hamas to recognize Israel and accede to a peace deal negotiated by Mahmoud Abbas and approved by referendum. However, Hamas immediately pulled the rug out from under Carter, exposing his idiocy...
More at Hot Air.

In other words, Hamas has once again pulled the wool over the near-blind (as in no one is blinder than those who refuse to see...) eyes of Jimmuh Carter. His being made a fool by enemies of the United States and damaging our national security interests is a role that this useful idiot of terrorists continues to embrace, long after his disastrous presidency:

Carter's arrogant, misguided attempt at freelance diplomacy was in direct defiance of American foreign policy, and went against the advice of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and members of Congress.

Carter asked Khaled Mashaal to stop Hamas rocket attacks on Israel and to start talking to the Israeli prime minister about a prisoner exchange.

Not surprisingly, all Carter got in response was word that Hamas would get back to him with a reply ''in the coming days.''

But Hamas got what it wanted from Carter --Êa former U.S. president begging its favor. Carter only helps to validate Hamas' claim to legitimacy as a player in Mideast. After the meeting, a Hamas spokesman told The Associated Press, ''Political isolation (of Hamas) by the American administration has begun to crumble.''

In short, Hamas made a monkey out of Carter, just as Ayatollah Khomeini did in 1979 when Carter was president and allowed then-U.S. ally Iran to be taken over by hostile Islamic radicals. Carter went on to let the radicals dance on his face for more than a year as they held 52 U.S. embassy staffers hostage. Not until Ronald Reagan brought common sense and an iron will to the White House were the hostages released.

Carter's impotence as president emboldened the Islamists and we're still dealing with the lethal consequences of Carter's failure.

Somebody shred his passport, please.

Carter and America desperately need him to go back to doing the only thing he's ever done well - building houses for the poor who can't afford to sue him for shoddy work.

(Video) Hamas MP: Islam Will Conquer Europe and the Two Americas

Tuesday 15 April 2008 @ 12:01 am

In a video broadcast on official Hamas television, Hamas member of Parliament Yunis Al-Astal says that the destruction of the Jews is just a precursor to Islam's conquest of the entire world.

"We Will Conquer Rome, and from There Continue to Conquer the Two Americas and Eastern Europe."

And it's people like this that Jimmy Carter wants us to engage in dialog with; little wonder that Israel's secret service refused to guard him.

Top Al Qaeda Leader Abu Ubaida al-Masri Confirmed Dead in Pakistan

Wednesday 9 April 2008 @ 4:51 pm

Fox News and others are reporting the old news (he could have died as far back as January) as new news that Al Qaeda operative and bomb expert Abu Ubaida al-Masri, one of the terror group's top 10 leaders, is dead.

The story goes that the Islamoterrorist-slimebucket supposedly died of hepatitis, but I'll place my bets on it being at the business-end of a predator.

Other coverage includes Hot Air's U.S. intel: AQ mastermind of London bombings, British airline plot dead ...
