You have to be extremely naive, or terminally moronic (as in "Green, leftist, Eco-idiots" that will not drill the oil we have here in America or burn our abundant coal resources) , not to realize that if you put a "premium" on the grains that literally have fed the hungry masses of the world from America's "Breadbasket", to turn it into biofuels to compete - gasp - with rocketing oil prices, that the demand would make the prices of said grain prohibitively expensive and would create speculation and shortages, which in turn would be felt most harshly upon the poorest of the poor in the world, who have until now relied on this previously abundant and inexpensive food source for their very survival!

Heh! Then talk about "leftys" being such "bleeding hearts" for the "poor" and "downtrodden" of the world who, as a result of this "ecological, Al Gore, Global Warming" idiocy nightmare, will now face mounting famine and starvation, as they literally compete - with the food that would otherwise be available to them - with Opec and Hugo Chavez for a share of the "energy market"! My God!!!

You can say the "Greenies" have literally run over those starving in Third World Countries in their "Biodiesel-fueled, Socialist, Eco-campaign Busses" (like Sheryl Crow's?), wouldn't you say?!?!

Not only that. As a result, feeds for our livestock have also become prohibitively expensive and harder to allocate, setting off a chain reaction that has resulted in the outrageous prices of dairy products, meats, and poultry, we now see at supermarkets, and which in turn trickle down through the cost of other food production and manufacturing, making the standard of living more expensive, triggering more inflation, and higher prices to spread to other sectors of the economy! Talk about economic suicide!

For one thing, at least we have to be thankful no Al Gore "Global Warming" idiot, has come up with a "water engine", or we would face having to wear suits as in Frank Herbert's Dune to recycle our perspiration and urine into precious, drinkable, water, as speculators hoarded water, drove the barrel of water to $200.00 a barrel (forgot bottled water already commands as much), eventually dried up lakes, rivers, and oceans, and turned the earth into a veritable desert planet...like Dune! Ok, so I'm being a bit theatrical and bombastic here, but you get my drift...and it's not the "melting" ice sheets by the way.

Who knows, in the end maybe the hungry and starving people of the world, will have no choice but to emulate the Peruvian boy who became world famous in the sixties for drinking a "glass of petrol" every day without any apparent ill effects, and content themselves with drinking a daily cup of "biodiesel", instead of a loaf of bread...courtesy of the "Al Gore", "demented
